Reading is not the same as collecting
A shelf of unread books is a wish list, not a library. Finishing fewer things changes what you take away.
Buying a book feels like learning something. It is not, and the gap between the two grows quietly until the shelf becomes a monument to intentions.
One at a time
Read one book at a time and finish it, even the parts that drag. The argument only lands once you have carried it all the way to the end.
Then write down three sentences about it. If you cannot, you did not read it.
